Answer 2 Seminoma. The normal AFP and elevated ß-hCG levels are most consistent with a seminoma. Nonseminomatous germ cell tumors are associated with elevated AFP levels, while Leydig cell tumors can be more difficult to diagnose as they are not associated with elevated ß-hCG and AFP levels. Leydig cell tumors are associated with elevated estradiol levels. Klinefelter’s syndrome and Kallmann syndrome are both associated with delayed puberty. Click here to return to the questions
