- Anorexia nervosa.
Many other conditions, including anorexia nervosa, hypothermia, advanced age, diabetes mellitus, and pernicious anemia may result in prolonged reflex relaxation times. The clinician must therefore perform a thorough history and physical examination, and order appropriate serologic tests, if the diagnosis is unclear.
