Tall stature is a hallmark feature of Marfan syndrome, homocystinuria, and multiple endocrine neoplasia type IIB. Chondrodysplasia is the only inherited connective tissue disorder characterized by short stature due to abnormal cartilage, whereas all other connective tissue disorders, such as familial tall stature, are accompanied by either tall or normal stature.
