The Fourth Report of the National High Blood Pressure Education Program Working Group on Children and Adolescents defines normal blood pressure (systolic or diastolic) as less than the 90th percentile, prehypertension blood pressure as 90th to 95th percentile, and hypertension as 95th percentile or more for age, gender, and height.
