Surgical resection.
Mesenchymal hamartoma is a rapidly enlarging lesion and may compromise the respiratory, cardiovascular, and urinary systems if not resected. Chemotherapy, corticosteroid therapy, and radiotherapy have no role in the treatment of mesenchymal hamartoma. Gene therapy may become available for asymptomatic cases in the future.
