Telephonic screening for cognitive impairment: a feasibility study in a managed care clinic Knopman DS, von Sternberg T, Haefemeyer JW
The authors screened for dementia in an elderly population using 2 standardized mental status examinations administered via telephone. They report on both the patients’ response to the telephonic screening approach and the effectiveness of this method in detecting cognitive impairment.
