Physician and patient characteristics associated with adherence to preventive care guidelines Brody ER, Kohler SA, Rask KJ
In an urban primary care center, researchers found low rates of adherence to cancer prevention and diabetes management guidelines. Physician gender, physician specialty, and frequency of outpatient visits were consistent predictors of having received care according to guidelines.
