Assessing patient satisfaction on a general medicine service: utility of an on-site survey
Medina CE, Goldszer RC, Krupinski JA
Researchers at an academic medical center compared results from an on-site survey with results from a mail-in survey conducted 1 year earlier. Patient satisfaction scores did not differ significantly between surveys, and the on-site methodology was associated with a faster time to data analysis, higher response rate, and lower cost.
