A brief telephonic instrument to screen for cognitive impairment in a managed care population

Designed to be administered during health risk assessment of new health plan members, the instrument comprises 3 questions and uses a simple, integer-based scoring system. On initial testing, the instrument was highly predictive of cognitive impairment and achieved relatively high sensitivity and specificity
